Karin Wolff Atelier

Art inspired by nature, meditation, and rhythm.

Focus: Art & Design

Karin Wolff is a Brazilian-born artist whose creative journey spans four continents and decades of exploration, with nature as her enduring inspiration and painting as a form of meditation. From early drawings in Brazil to her current studio in Amsterdam, her work reflects a lifelong dialogue with the natural world. After studying visual arts at UFGRS, she spent thirty years immersed in yoga and philosophy across South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania—experiences that deepened her sensitivity to light, rhythm, and perception. Her return to professional art during the pandemic in Australia marked a turning point, as she studied Aboriginal Australian art and discovered powerful resonances with her own evolving style. Influenced by both Indigenous traditions and European masters like Monet and Van Gogh, her abstract landscapes are built from layered, rhythmic brushstrokes. Her large-scale works merge intuitive color, form, and movement—transforming quiet observation into vibrant, meditative compositions that invite contemplation and connection with nature.
